Julia Robertson
DIRECTOR/PRODUCER
Julia Robertson, producer and director of The Silence of Sex, has a BA in
photography from Lewis and Clark College and has worked as a freelance photographer
for the last 10 years while raising her three children. Her photography has
been shown in several galleries in Oregon. After working for many years in
fine art photography and the commercial photography business she made a long
awaited and what she felt to be a natural progression to the film industry.
Julia completed the avid certificate program at BAVC in 2000 and began her
film career working for Connie Field on her six hour documentary series about
the International Apartheid Movement. She created a small film group called
Pinch Me Films in March 2001 and is working on her first documentary video
called "The Silence of Sex".
